Then they cover getting to the theme of every shop, from old-school tattooing to oil painting, monster tattoos, and getting your group tattoo. Finally they talk about some bands joining the project with featured music.

Rich & Will talk about how tattoos are going more mainstream as more people learn about the tattoo shops, and their goal to showcase the amazing artists who have shops in your backyard. Why get a mediocre tattoo when you can get one that's museum quality?

Rich and Will discuss the first edition of the DVD ("The Pilot"), how they got the idea, why they're focused on Connecticut, and Brett's influence on the concept. Then they get into the need to highlight individual shops because there is so much high-quality content available. Motion Ink is different from TLC's Miami Ink or Inked because the focus is not on the drama, but the artwork.
